The Story of Ken and Cathy

From slippers to soulmates.
It began at a wedding; only, it wasn't theirs. Seen in a crowd of 400, was a girl in hotel slippers, messy curls flying in the wind, maid-of-honour duties in tow. In that same crowd, a boy who liked what he saw.
Years passed before their first date. But over dinner, generous pours, laughter, and shared life experiences, sparks flew.
A hopeful week in Tokyo marked the start of a cross-border love story. From weekend dates via the CX524 red-eye, to meeting the parents in Hong Kong and mainland China, devotion was carved into their foundation. Supported by solid stepping stones, their relationship flourished as the lovers explored wineries in Bordeaux, paved paths in Madrid, life in Japan, and the idea of marriage.
"Marry me," proclaimed the signage firmly planted in sand. Though their hearts had already begun to weave a tapestry of wedding dreams, this moment was a gift — a romantic surprise Cathy so deserved. At 'Magic Hour', as the Phulay Bay reserve bathed in the golden hues of sunset, Ken offered her his heart, knowing, perhaps, that her "yes" had been whispered long before the amber glow kissed the shore.
